Cameratta Companies has broken ground on the amenities for The Place at Corkscrew, a new gated community east of Interstate 75 in Estero. The project home builders are Pulte Homes and Lennar Homes.  Model homes are complete and open daily, with home prices starting in the upper $200,000’s.

Residents will have access to a variety of amenities, including a private restaurant with an upscale wine and martini bar; a two-story fitness building with state-of-the-art equipment, kids club, aerobics studio, massage therapy, café and marketplace with small groceries, ice cream shop and juice bar; an approximate 12,000 square foot resort-style pool, 100-foot waterslide, waterfalls, kids splash pad, and multiple fire pit areas. The amenity site will also include sport courts for tennis, pickleball, bocce ball, basketball and a dog park.

“Our vision for the Market Place is a charming café with comfortable seating and Wi-Fi for socializing with friends or a welcome escape for those who work from home to refuel at the juice bar or unwind with a coffee or a quick snack” said Nick Cameratta, CEO of Cameratta Companies.  “This is a true destination community with first-class amenities.  The large lots, deeper setbacks, and sidewalks are also big selling features.  Cameratta Companies’ works very well with Lennar Homes and Pulte Homes and we’re very pleased to work with them on this new community in Estero”.

Cameratta’s vision for amenities has become their identity. With more than 40 years of experience, the Cameratta organization has successfully developed thousands of acres of raw land into masterfully designed communities, each with amenities that are more amazing than the next.  Originally from Ohio, Cameratta Companies’ Southwest Florida development began with the 32-story waterfront towers of High Point Place in downtown Fort Myers, then Cameratta set their sights on the Corkscrew Road corridor in Estero with the single-family home communities of The Preserve at Corkscrew, and Corkscrew Shores.

“We plan the community carefully so that we can provide world class amenities and still have better than market HOA fees.” Said Dominic Cameratta, CFO Cameratta Companies.

With Corkscrew Road being one of the main exits from Interstate 75 to Florida Gulf Coast University, Germain Arena, Miromar Outlets and Coconut Point, this corridor has been one of the fastest growing areas of Lee County over the last twenty-year period.
